What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Browsers also offer "local storage", a similar mechanism for remembering settings. This page lists what ToolsWish uses, why, and how you can control it. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Essential storage (always on)
- Theme preference (local storage, key
cc-theme): remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. - Cookie notice choice (local storage, key
cc-consent): remembers that you accepted or declined non-essential cookies so we do not ask again. - Notepad content (local storage, key
cc-notepad): only on the online notepad page, stores your notes on your device.
These entries never leave your browser and contain no personal information.
Analytics cookies (optional)
Where analytics is enabled, cookies such as _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics) are used to count visits and understand how pages are used. The data is aggregated and does not include the content you enter into tools. They expire after up to two years.
Advertising cookies (optional)
Advertising on this site is served by Google AdSense and its partners. These vendors may set cookies such as IDE, DSID, __gads, __gpi and _gcl_au to show relevant ads, limit how often you see the same ad and measure ad performance. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Learn more and opt out at Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
Your choices
- Use the cookie notice on your first visit to accept all cookies or keep essential storage only. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland see a detailed consent message for advertising.
- Change your mind at any time by clearing cookies and site data for this site in your browser; the notice will appear again.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all offer this under Privacy). The tools keep working without cookies.
- Turn on the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where that applies.
