How to use the font generator

There is nothing to install and no setting to choose. The styles update as you type.

  1. Type or paste your text into the input box. The Paste and Clear buttons above it save a step. While the box is empty, the rows show sample text so you can preview each style.
  2. Scroll the list under Styles (click Copy on any row). There are 21 rows, from Bold and Bold serif to Superscript, Upside down and Mirror, and each one shows your text in that style.
  3. Press Copy beside the style you like. The text goes to your clipboard exactly as shown.
  4. Paste it into your bio, caption, username field, chat or document.
  5. Check how it looks on the destination before you publish, because every app draws these characters with its own fonts.

You can copy as many rows as you like and change the text between copies. Most styles keep your capitals and lower case apart, but Small caps turns every letter into a small capital, so the difference disappears there. A short name or a single line is the right size, because long styled paragraphs are hard to read.

What these fonts really are, with a worked example

These are not fonts. A font changes how letters are drawn, and it has to be installed or loaded by the app. Here the letters themselves are replaced with look-alike characters from Unicode, mostly the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block, so a bold h becomes a different character that happens to look bold. Because the result is plain text, it pastes into Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, YouTube and game name fields without installing anything.

Not every style covers every character. Here is the text Hello World 2026 in four of the styles:

StyleResultWhat happens to digits
Bold๐—›๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น๐—ผ ๐—ช๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐ŸฒConverted
Italic๐˜๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ ๐˜ž๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ญ๐˜ฅ 2026Stay plain

Subscriptโ‚•โ‚‘โ‚—โ‚—โ‚’ Wโ‚’แตฃโ‚—d โ‚‚โ‚€โ‚‚โ‚†Converted, but W and d have no subscript form

In general, Bold, Bold serif, Double struck, Monospace, Bubbles, Filled bubbles and Fullwidth handle digits. Italic, Bold italic, Script, Bold script, Fraktur, Bold fraktur and the two square styles convert letters only. Small caps has no Q, so a q stays plain. Superscript lacks some capitals and q, and Subscript covers only part of the alphabet. Accented letters such as รฉ and letters from other alphabets are not converted at all.

Where these styles work, and where to avoid them

Use them sparingly: a name, a heading line or a short bio, with the rest of your text left plain. They are decoration, not formatting, and a few concerns are worth knowing before you rely on them.

  • Accessibility. Screen readers may read the characters oddly, spell them letter by letter or skip them, so a styled sentence can be unreadable to a blind visitor.
  • Search. A word in a styled alphabet is a different set of characters, so platform search and search engines may not match it with the plain word.
  • Compatibility. A few older devices show empty boxes instead of rare characters.
  • Turned text. Upside down and Mirror swap each character for a look-alike and also reverse the order of the letters, so the phrase reads correctly when you turn the page around. A few of the flipped characters are rare, so check them in the app you paste into. The upside down text generator has more options for flipping a line.

Avoid styled text for URLs, passwords, email addresses, legal names and anything that must be searchable or accessible. If you only need one effect, a dedicated page such as the bold text generator, the bubble text generator or the small text generator gives a tighter choice. For emblems, arrows and stars to go with your text, open symbols copy and paste, and to see the code points behind each character try the Unicode text converter.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

The questions people ask most, answered in plain words.

Are these real fonts?

No. They are Unicode look-alike characters, not fonts. Each letter you type is swapped for a different character that resembles a bold, script or circled letter, which is why the result pastes as ordinary text into almost any app.

Where can I use the copied text?

Anywhere that accepts plain text, including Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, YouTube and many game name fields. Each app draws the characters with its own fonts, so preview the result before posting.

Why did some letters or numbers not change?

Not every style covers every character. Italic and script styles convert letters only, so digits stay plain, and small caps has no Q. Accented letters and non-Latin alphabets are not converted, and symbols without a look-alike stay as typed.

Are fancy fonts bad for accessibility and search?

They can be. Screen readers may read the characters oddly or letter by letter, and search may not match styled words with plain ones. Keep them to short decorative text, and avoid them for names, links or anything people need to find or hear.

Is the text I type uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs in your browser and the text you type is never sent to a server or stored. Clearing the box or closing the page removes it, and Copy only places the styled text on your own clipboard.
