JPG to PDF Converter

Combine one or many JPG photos into a single PDF, one picture per page, in the order you set. Choose A4, US Letter or pages that match each image. It is free, needs no sign-up and builds the file in your browser, so your documents are never uploaded.

How to use the JPG to PDF converter

Photograph or scan your pages first, then build the PDF in a few clicks. Order matters, so arrange the files before you press the button.

  1. Drop your JPG files on the box or click it to choose them. Add every page you need; each picture becomes one page.
  2. Use the up and down arrow buttons beside each file name to put the pages in order, and the cross to remove one by mistake.
  3. Set Page size to A4 or US Letter for documents, or Same size as each image for photos. Leave Orientation on Match each image unless you want every page the same way up.
  4. Pick a Margin: None, Small (6 mm), Medium (13 mm) or Large (19 mm). Small suits most documents.
  5. Press Create PDF, check the page count and size in the result, then download it. One file is named after your picture, and several files give images.pdf.

Forms, ID scans and application uploads

Many online forms for jobs, admissions, exams and government services ask for a single PDF rather than a pile of photos. A phone camera plus this page is often all you need. Every portal sets its own rules on page count and file size, so read them before you start, and do not assume a particular limit.

A few habits make a cleaner result:

  • Photograph each page flat, in even light, with the whole sheet in frame and no shadow from your hand.
  • Trim the empty table or floor around the page with the image cropper so the document fills the PDF page.
  • Take the front of an ID card, then the back, and put them in that order. Several cards can share one file only if the portal allows it.
  • Check the order of pages in the file list before building. Rebuilding is quick, but a wrong page in a submitted application is not.
  • Do not worry about a photo taken sideways. Your browser applies the phone rotation while drawing each picture, so it normally lands upright on the page.

This tool has no compression slider. Each picture is redrawn by your browser and saved at 92 percent JPEG quality, so a 4 MB phone photo gives a PDF of similar weight. If a portal caps the file size, shrink the pictures first with the image resizer or aim for a target with reduce image size in KB.

Page size, orientation and margin explained

SettingWhat it does
A4 or US LetterEvery page has that paper size. Each picture is scaled to fit inside, never stretched, and centered.
Same size as each imageEach page is cut to its picture, with the margin added around it. Orientation has no effect.
Match each imageWide pictures get landscape pages and tall ones get portrait pages.
Portrait or LandscapeForces every page to one direction, whatever the picture shape.

A worked example: a 3000 by 4000 pixel portrait photo on A4 with a Small margin. The usable area is about 559 by 806 points once the margins come off. The photo is scaled to fit, ending up around 559 by 746 points, which is 19.7 by 26.3 cm, with roughly 1.7 cm of spare space above and below.

Small, low-resolution pictures are enlarged to fill the page and can look soft. If you want them at natural size, choose Same size as each image.

Limits to remember: the PDF contains pictures, not selectable text, as there is no text recognition. There is also no password option and no per-page margin. Pages are built one picture at a time, so a long list of big photos takes longer on a phone than on a laptop. For PNG screenshots, use PNG to PDF; to join PDFs that already exist, use Merge PDF. The parent image to PDF converter accepts mixed formats.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

The questions people ask most, answered in plain words.

Can I combine several JPG files into one PDF?

Yes. Add all the pictures, arrange them with the arrow buttons, and press Create PDF. Each image becomes one page, in the order shown in the file list. The result is a single PDF you can download and attach to a form or email.

How do I change the order of the pages?

Use the up and down arrow buttons next to each file name before you press Create PDF. The pages follow the order of the list from top to bottom. If you notice a mistake afterwards, change the order and build the PDF again.

Will the PDF be small enough for an upload limit?

It depends on your photos. The tool has no compression slider, and each picture is saved at high quality, so large phone photos make a large PDF. Reduce the pictures first with an image resizer or compressor, then build the PDF and check its size.

Is the text in the PDF searchable or selectable?

No. The PDF contains your photos as pictures, so there is no selectable text. The tool does not perform text recognition. If you need to copy words from a scan, use a separate image-to-text tool on the photo.

Are my ID scans and documents uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is built inside your browser, and your pictures are never sent to a server. This matters for ID scans and forms with personal details. Close the tab when finished, and delete downloaded copies you no longer need.
